Salt and Light

Salt and Light is a bus ministry that provides food, clothing, support and prayer to the women on the streets of Glasgow. Every Thursday evening from 10pm in the city centre, they offer practical help and support to the lost and broken in Glasgow, sharing the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday of each week, the bus becomes a daytime drop-in in Govanhill (Mon-Wed) and the Gorbals (Thurs). A number of people have responded to the gospel through this ministry, some going on to complete the Alpha course. Several men and women, following support from the Salt and Light ministry team, have broken free from the things which had them bound and moved on to find new life and hope.

Salt and Light provides an outreach that expresses the compassionate heart of God as a loving Father, where everyone is accepted. Salt and Light is committed to helping and empowering people to fulfil their destiny, changing their lives forever.
