Glasgow SE Foodbank

Some of the team at our ASDA food collection day.
Glasgow SE Foodbank helps referred people in crisis, primarily from the South East of Glasgow, by providing nutritious food to keep them going until they are linked in to social services.
The Foodbank operates out of Glasgow Elim, and is managed by Audrey Flannagan and supported by a large team of volunteers.
Food is donated from a variety of sources:
-
The Elim congregation,
-
Other churches and charitable organisations
-
Offices and factories
-
Schools and individuals
The food is then distributed to people who find themselves in short term crisis, and who are referred to the Foodbank by Social Services or other organisations who are recognised and authorised by the Foodbank.
